This last week has been one that has reminded us of the wonderful blessing of friends in our lives. Last Sunday, John called 2 new counselors into his bishopric. His previous counselors from the last 2 years are both moving. Lots of love and best wishes to the Schows and the Bests! We had the old and new bishopric over for homemade ice cream and cookies. After almost everyone left, we were able to enjoy a wonderful walk with Cooper, Amanda, and their 3 boys. They were kind enough to remind us of some wonderful memories we have shared over the last 2 years. We will miss them dearly!

Part two of our great week occurred Friday evening, after a hysterical evening at Pickleville. The Passey family, who became my Belgian family away from home, was in Garden City for a family reunion! I was able to sneak up and say a quick hi before they snuck back out of the country! It was so much fun to see them again!
