What the...

(Part two of the road trip:)

It goes a little bit like this:
We LOVE our cousins. We love them oodles.

Toph and James like to cuddle while watching football.

We like to play games with Heather and Bonnie and Bridgette...

...and Grandma Kenna and Sarah...

... games like Curses... especially at strange hours of the morning...

...when Bridgette and I fall asleep early (3 am)...

...and Toph, Heather, and Sarah sleep in late (8 am)!

We made a movie on Saturday. Allow me to explain briefly...

Toph and I stopped at the Garden of Eden truck stop on our way up to Boise. While Toph was taking care of some bladder business, I wandered around the enormous gas station listening in on random conversations. I happened upon a man: late 30s, balding, heavier set, mismatched suspenders, camouflage... he probably had a gun somewhere. Anyway, this guy is on his phone and he says (I kid you not) "I'm just gonna have to talk to dad about it. I don't know what the damn to do."

Now, me, being the silly little Utahn that I am, I stopped for a second.
What did he just say?
I couldn't believe it.
Maybe he never really learned how to swear.
I don't swear, but I could teach him how to properly use swear words if he really wanted to know...

ANYWAY,

Toph and I had a good chuckle over that. And then we shared it with as many people as we could think of. And then we based our entire movie on the phrase "What the damn?"
(Keep in mind, it isn't considered swearing because we were in Idaho, and it isn't used correctly...)

Our movie was about a family of hicks that sent their sister to the city.
She comes back all Goth and such...

Sunday we all got together and sang. And played. A lot. :)

We're cute. It was almost the entire Barefoot Band!

This is what we're really like...

Posing for the cover of a magazine:

On the couch. All of us. On ONE couch.

We had such a fantastic weekend! Thanks to the Boise crew for taking such good care of us!
We can't wait to see you again!

(PS: if you would like to see the movie, be advised that it is 17 minutes long and has not, as of yet, been posted on the internet. It also contains country music. Please take this into consideration before watching. Viewer discretion advised...)
