Netanya, Israel

Well, we made it! Israel is beautiful! We are staying in a city called Netanya. My boss is kind enough to let us stay in his apartment until he arrives, after which we'll move to a hotel. The apartment is on the 12th floor of a beautiful building with a million-dollar view of the Mediterranean Sea! This is looking south-west from the balcony...

The Israeli Branch manager for Obelis, the company I am here presenting for, picked us up from the airport. His name is Hemi. He brought us to the apartment where Mom and I crashed! We woke up in the evening and met Hemi's wife Osnat. They took us out to dinner at a little restaurant on the beach where we were able to watch the sunset as we ate! After sunset, they took us for a walk down the beach, and then to the city center...

This is a fuzzy view of Netanya. There is an elevator that goes from the city to the beach... An interesting concept... but it is beautiful, nonetheless.  There is a little ledge that looks like it belongs in a Star Wars movie. This is a shot from said ledge.

Here's another shot from the balcony of the apartment. All the trees have been moved here, they did not grow up here. :) This is one of the main streets in Netanya...

More to come!
